Blue Diamond was not an official Olympic Sponsor but our client wanted in on the conversation, and our Strategy Department found an opening. The IOC Rule 40 prohibits any brand or Athlete from mentioning all non-IOC corporate sponsors during a two period during the games, but Rule 40 does not extend to social behaviors. 50 Spicy Medals, a Call to Action Teaser and some Community Management later, our Fans had their own edible Olympic Medals.
